Ruby Mimi Hotel Zurich enjoys an excellent location near the Zurich HB main station, making it easy to explore the city and access transportation. The hotel features a modern, funky design, complete with a lobby bar that's great for hanging out, and even offers movie viewings with popcorn. Guests appreciate the convenience of the 24/7 coffee, tea, and water station on each floor, though some found the self-service concept, such as carrying extra pillows from reception, a bit unusual. The hotel also emphasizes soundproofing, with some rooms even featuring a Marshall amplifier.

decent location, but some downsides

bathroom setup instant coffee

the location was certainly convenient to the train station, made getting around easy.

The room felt quite cramped, particularly the bathroom setup. the shower and toilet were in a glass cube inside the room. This offered little privacy. there was also no coffee maker in the room.. i had to go to a communal area for instant coffee.

nice gesture reception manager

The friendly receptionist upgraded my room upon arrival. It was a thoughtful gesture, despite upgrades sometimes being variable across hotels I know.

I found the hotel's air-conditioning system a bit complex to operate and I think needs simplicity.
